What is a FLEX LEO position?  A Flex LEO is an individual assigned to a unique personnel pool.  FLEX LEO’s are specifically recruited and designated individuals paid at a premium rate when utilized and designed to be available on short notice to fill unanticipated or as-needed open shifts.  They are paid at a premium rate in recognition of their ability to respond on short/no notice to unanticipated or short duration work assignments.   If you are a retired or current law enforcement officer and willing to work flexible shifts on an ‘as needed’ basis then this may be the position for you.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent 
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Must project a professional appearance 
• Must have a reliable form of transportation 
• Retired Law Enforcement Officer in good standing (retired card required) who is authorized to carry a firearm
• Current Law Enforcement Officer in good standing who is allowed to work off-duty
• Current and Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

• Act as a crime deterrent while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. 
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure work environment. 
• Notify supervisors and on-site staff of any irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards. 
• Conduct standardized reports that are prompt, professional, and accurate relative to the incident. 
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area. 
• Must embody and promote company values while operating as a highly visible deterrent on site.
• Comply with Company Time and Attendance standards and policies. 
• Perform various job-related duties as assigned per Post Orders. 
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
