    American Community Bank & Trust is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Credit Analyst.  In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with commercial lenders on the credit application and review process.     Requirements

     Primary Responsibilities

    • Performs credit analysis, verification, and financial statement review to assist in the loan decision making process and to protect the bank from credit losses.
    • Works directly with lenders to prepare credit presentations on new and existing relationships for approval.
    • Assists with completion of reviews on all relationships including analysis of financial statements, collateral evaluation, covenant compliance, borrowing bases, payment history, risk rating review and any adverse industry or economic changes.
    • Performs real estate appraisal reviews and internal evaluations.
    • Works closely with the leadership to ensure understanding of loan policy, procedure, credit risk rating system, and compliance with appropriate regulations.
    • Assists in the maintenance of the bank’s overall loan compliance program.
    • Maintains integrity of Loan Origination System.
    • Remains highly informed on current bank policy and related rules and regulations. Interprets and communicates standards and guidelines to lenders in an effective manner.
    • Remains in compliance with all applicable banking regulations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination education and experience
    • A minimum of two years’ financial services related experience preferred

    • Maintain confidentiality of client information
    • Sound judgement; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Quality, accuracy, timeliness reporting
    • Up to date on legal, compliance, and market risk requirements
