Adjunct faculty to teach Criminal Justice classes at the HVCC main campus in Troy, NY.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice or closely related discipline from an accredited college or university. Instructors must be able to teach daytime on-campus and nights and previous experience teaching Criminal Justice courses.
• Preferred Qualifications: Post-secondary teaching experience preferred. Experience with online delivery systems such as Brightspace highly desirable.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide classroom instruction in the Criminal Justice department.
• Evaluate student performance.
• Participation on departmental, division wide, and college wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported
• At the direction of the Department Chairperson, adjunct faculty shall perform duties as specified in the faculty contract.
The Salary is $1,340.00 per contact hour.
