CRM Business Data Analyst jobs in Louisiana

MATRIX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects at one of our client sites. 

The primary work location will be onsite at a client location in Killona, Louisiana. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage the timeline, budget, and risks of the work performed by the workforce.
• Review and approve invoices under the Project Manager. 
• Provide cost projections and identify cost trends for management. 
• Track project progress through the earned value process. 
• Develop resource/cash flow plans to project future resource needs. 
• Identify, analyze, and provide solutions to cost engineering problems. 
• Review expense forms or other invoice documentation for accuracy. 
• Monitor the scope, cost, and schedule for the project. 
• Perform primarily office and non-manual work. 
• Perform work related to the management or general business operations of MATRIX 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position:

• Basic understanding of project management of project controls
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.  Preferably with the knowledge and ability to manipulate data in Excel, and use pivot tables.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
• Strong written and verbal communication skills desired
• 10 years of experience in power plant operations or equivalent military experience. 
• Must be able to attain unescorted access to a US Nuclear power facility.  This will require background checks and initial and random drug screening.

Other Skills and Abilities Required:   

• The employee is self-motivated and has a willingness to learn. 
• Has extensive knowledge of nuclear applications. 
• Possesses excellent knowledge of functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations. 
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 
• Able to handle high-paced work environment. 
• The ability to communicate well with customers and other MATRIX and customer/client employees. 
• Must be dependable. 
• Must have proficient computer skills.
