Job Summary:
The primary function of this position is to meet the overall insurance needs of our clients. The Personal Lines Account Manager must provide prompt, accurate, professional services to our clients, producers, vendors, and company employees to maintain and grow our personal lines book of business. This position is open to partial remote or fully remote work for someone with proven and demonstrated work ethic and remote performance. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and counsel on personal lines matters to an assigned book of business.
- Meet daily servicing needs of our clients.
- Evaluate prospect’s current insurance coverages and offer alternatives based on coverage and price. Present proposals and finalize sales.
- Remarket existing clients as directed by management or client need.
- Process endorsements and ensure they are properly issued.
- Produce insurance ID and evidence of insurance as needed.
- Quote and issue new business through account rounding and/or referral networks.
- Work assigned activities and tasks in a timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy of policy documents and maintain up-to-date client records.
Required Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years of personal lines experience within an independent agency setting.
- Property and Casualty Producer license is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience working on Applied ‘Epic’ system is required.
- Having a working knowledge of the insurance companies we represent is a plus.

- Must be organized and detail oriented with excellent verbal and communication skills.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary.
- Ability to work independently and self-motived.
- Strong sense of initiative with a proven ability to resolve complex issues.
