At Barnes Crossing Mitsubishi, our Service Department is under new management and are in need of a few highly-skilled lube technicians to complete the maintenance needs of our customers.

A Quick Lube Technician will be responsible for tasks such as preparing detailed vehicle service reports, replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries, and changing motor oil and filters. You should also be able to keep vehicle interiors clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks, and enter data into computers.

This position is a Competency-Based structure in which an employee's pay is structured based on their skill set, knowledge, and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Drain engine oil & refill with suggested viscosity & quantity
• Replace oil & air filters when needed
• Rotate tires & inspect brake pads
• Check & adjust tire air pressure
• Complete multi-point inspections on every vehicle
• Inspect & refill fluid levels of key components
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of basic vehicle systems and technical resources a plus
• Excellent manual dexterity skills, patience, creativity, good judgment and an eye for detail
• A valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
