To escort children across major streets at designated school crossing locations.
- Escorts children across the streets.
- May be required to drive to different crossing locations.
- Must have the ability to select safe crossing conditions.
- Must be able to stand, and walk up to 3 hours per day.
- Must be able to observe oncoming traffic, children's actions and watch for traffic hazards.
- Must be able to hear children's requests and traffic noises.
- Other duties as assigned.
This is a split shift position; you must be able to work both shifts: 6:40 am to 8:40 am AND 2:35 pm to 4:35 pm. Must possess a valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License with a clear driving record.
