Job Description
Pay range $18.00 - $22.00 / hour based on experience. We provide opportunity for pay and skill advancement through our operator level program, and a safety-first work environment.
2nd shift hours are M-F 2 : 00pm to 10 : 30pm.
The primary responsibility of this position is to set up and operate equipment used to mix and grind materials to produce quality dispersions, inks and intermediates.
Operators are also responsible to accurately perform color matching and adjustments, and test and approve inks for production.
Essential Job Duties
Following batch ticket instructions, set up and operate a variety of high-speed mixers and mills (ball, horizontal, Kady mills).
Select batch, weigh materials, select mill utilizing proper equipment.
Review results vs formula and color and inform manager of off quality. Document results and approve for production.
Qualifications
occasional climbing, reaching, overhead work, and bending / squatting / kneeling ; ability to lift / carry up to 55 lbs.
ability to push / pull 50-100 lbs. with handling equipment assistance; and adequate visually acuity to perform color matching and identify production quality defects.
