The Curriculum Developer II conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Being a Curriculum Developer II develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. In addition, Curriculum Developer II writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Curriculum Developer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     We are currently in search of a skilled Installer who will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems..

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs
    • Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid
    • Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety
    • Complete projects within established policies and procedures
    • Ensures that equipment is weather sealed
    • Performs routine maintenance on PV systems
    • Responsible for assisting the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system
    • Performs other related duties as assigned

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.
    • Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read building plans.
    • Ability to read equipment manuals.
    • Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.
    • Ability to use ION technology, such as smartphones, Paycom, Field Pro, SalesForce, etc.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Vocational or technical school training preferred.
    • Experience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to work at great heights.
    • Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.
    • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.

    Work Environment:

    • PV installation is done outdoors. Installers work on rooftops but also sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electrical grid.
    • PV installers work as part of a team. Installation of solar panels require the help of technicians and electricians.
