The Curriculum Developer II conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Being a Curriculum Developer II develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. In addition, Curriculum Developer II writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Curriculum Developer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Troubleshoots, debugs, maintains and improves existing software
    • Primary focus on break / fix, optimizing and developing new requirements
    • Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes
    • Ability to shift from one application development project to another depending on current business needs
    • Collaborates with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
    • Compiles and assesses user feedback to improve software performance
    • Delivers project results within established deadlines.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Must be able to quickly grasp existing code base, modern and legacy, and make necessary changes while managing risk
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly organized and able to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
    • Ability to communicate/explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to others.
    • Experience developing web applications with C# using ASP.Net MVC
    • Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Experience designing MSSQL databases, SQL Queries, and stored procedures
    • Experience designing and consuming REST API s
    • Knowledge of source control technologies is preferred, such as Azure Dev Ops
    • Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent degree preferred
    • Position will be based on-site at our Highland Heights facility. This is not a remote opportunity.
