The Curriculum Developer II conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Being a Curriculum Developer II develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. In addition, Curriculum Developer II writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Curriculum Developer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are seeking a Curriculum Coordinator to join this team to be responsible for the development and implementation of EVA’s proficiency based learning curriculum, supporting teaching staff in developing curriculum and lesson plans that meet the expectations of proficiency-based learning, providing supervision and consultation to academic staff and assisting in admission process and always seeking ways to improve. The person in this role will network with curriculum directors at other independent schools and positively reflect our program and agency. Strong communication, flexibility and approachability is essential for this position. If you are seeking a position with a strong team dedicated to helping students who need an alternate school to reach their full potential, this may be the perfect place for you. Master's Degree required with 5 years experience as a Licensed Teacher. Special education endorsement strongly preferred.
