The Curriculum Developer II conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Being a Curriculum Developer II develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. In addition, Curriculum Developer II writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Curriculum Developer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     The Developer will develop and maintain high-quality software/application products using .net, SQL, entity framework, C#, JavaScript, and other necessary coding tools. Developers work through all stages of the software development lifecycle, to include requirements gathering, test documentation, application testing, and defect reporting.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain high-quality software products and applications using .net, SQL, Entity Framework, C#, and/or JavaScript.
    • Collaborates with clients and/or internal teams to understand user needs; drafts initial proposal and design of software to meet these needs.
    • Assesses feasibility of design and project parameters within time and cost constraints.
    • Develops code and designs software and/or applications based on user specifications.
    • Monitors and assists with software testing and validation procedures and programming.
    • Determines required system performance standards and hardware configurations based on client specifications, budget, security needs, and other parameters.


    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
    • Three years of experience as software developer or engineer preferred.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Ability to learn new coding languages and technologies.
