The Curriculum Developer II conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Being a Curriculum Developer II develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. In addition, Curriculum Developer II writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Curriculum Developer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.   • Primary duties include:

    • Design, develop, and implement automation scripts that ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) for our organization's systems and infrastructure.
    • Uses Git to leverage Ansible playbooks, managing configuration files, and integrating with other automation tools to enforce STIG requirements and maintain compliance.
    • Understanding and ability to research and make manual changes on network devices is still needed.
    • Write production grade code in modern program languages i.e. HTML, XML, VBA, YAML, Python
    • Develop, design and implement SharePoint and database development
    • Apply DevOps lifecycle and DevOps methodology and CI/CD pipelines
    • Implementation of REST API
    • Lead in development of automated solutions that drive efficient change, automation, and configuration providing security administration, and compliance across networks domains
    • Develop automated solutions that will reduce costs & human error associated with manual tasking
    • Build up automated workflows and templates based on customer automation requirements
    • Ensure workflows are configured properly to provide infrastructure capacity and performance management for forecasting and planning on future requirements
    • Develop and maintain custom scripts that shall be used outside of automation tools when it is determined to be more efficient and less resource intensive
    • Administer code reviews, workflows, and templates ensuring maximum efficiency
    • Oversee development of templates based on internal and external requirements as they are requested on automation request sites
    • Optimize jobs or application for maximum speed/scalability
    • Support lifecycle and network application services hosted by customer as defined as effective design, deployment, management of IT services and all applications
    • Contribute momentously to hardware and software lifecycle management tracking, manpower, defining shared infrastructure design standards, capacity services, code evaluation for feature enhancements, cost container, definition of common services, and project management for Communications Line of Business through manual and automated scripting
    • Create, document, and maintain all automation efforts across multiple locations
    • Provide infrastructure capacity and performance management for forecasting and planning future requirements by developing custom scripts to increase efficiency
    • Improve asset tracking communications and databases through automation efforts
    • Participate in briefings with Senior stakeholders to reviews work/projects affecting customer

    Education & Qualifications Required:

    • Must have an active SECRET or higher security clearance
    • Must have 5 years of relevant experience with network automation and orchestration in developing and maintaining adhoc, custom, and scheduled scripts, reports, policies, and workflows.
    • Must have DoD 8570.01-M/8140.01 IAT Level II Certification (can be one of the following: Security or CySA )
    • Must Have Relevant Computing Environment (CE) certification based on the equipment and software relevant to primary duties
    • CCNP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, GRE, IPsec, OpenSSL, script language
    • Strong and extensive knowledge of datacenter‐based network methods, protocols and technologies to include: (1) knowledge of languages [HTML, XML, VBA, YAML]
    • (2) Strong proficiency in SharePoint and databases development
    • (3) Understanding of DevOps lifecycles and CI/CD pipelines
    • (4) Extensive experience in writing production grade code in modern program languages
    • (5) Experience with implementation of REST API
    • (6) Experience in optimization of jobs or application for maximum speed/scalability
    • (7) Ability to identify manual business processes and convert them to automated functions
    • Strong ability to work with minimal supervision to provide solutions to challenging issues IT Bachelor’s Degree or Vendor Network Certification (Professional or higher)

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
