Consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. In addition, Curriculum Developer II writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The SAIC Intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) will develop Marine Corps Intelligence Schools (MCIS) periods of instruction (POI) and other training materials as assigned by MCIS program management. The SAIC curriculum developer and instructor SME will possess requisite skills for full-cycle development using ADDIE and Systems Approach to Training and Education (SATE) methodologies. MCIS curriculum developer and instructor will coordinate with team members in the analysis, design, and development of POIs, training/job aids, reference materials, and other training resources as required.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more USMC or related military intelligence experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more of related experience. An additional four (4) years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelors degree.
