Curriculum Manager manages the design and development of training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Oversees skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Being a Curriculum Manager consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Curriculum Manager provides outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Participates in the selection of software or collaboration tools used for training. Establishes metrics used to evaluate training effectiveness and analyzes outcomes to determine ROI and recommend changes to programs. May select and manage vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Curriculum Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Its curriculum is designed to equip Nevada’s physicians with the most advanced knowledge, treatments, and technologies -- the necessary tools to serve the health care needs of our diverse urban community. The temporary Curriculum Coordinator position is a one-of-a-kind opportunity. You will work closely with executive leadership, faculty, physicians and many other vital departments as additional clerical support.
Role/Responsibilities:
● Effectively manage MEB room calendars for space & facility usage required for instruction and required activities.
● Manage course information on UNLV Webcampus systems; e.g. syllabi and lectures, presentations materials, etc.
● Assist with other duties as assigned; such as scheduling classrooms, reserving space, emailing students, etc
● Assist with exam scheduling, accommodations, exam purchases, and other related proctor support.
● Manage grades and score reports and posting in UNLV WebCampus (CAnvas) and MedHub.
● Oversee proctoring schedules, supplies, and support.
● Assisting with the dissemination and collection of student performance evaluations.
● Maintain recording system for course outcomes, feedback, and surveys.
● Communicate basic science curriculum changes with registrar/enrollment, faculty, program leads, students, etc
● All other duties as needed
Required Qualifications and Experience:
● One to three (1-3) years of full-time professional work experience in an educational setting or administrative office.
● Knowledge and prior experience in supporting higher education programs preferred, but not required. Familiarity with learning management platforms, and the Google suite.
● Bachelor’s degree preferred
