Curriculum Manager manages the design and development of training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Oversees skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Being a Curriculum Manager consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Curriculum Manager provides outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Participates in the selection of software or collaboration tools used for training. Establishes metrics used to evaluate training effectiveness and analyzes outcomes to determine ROI and recommend changes to programs. May select and manage vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Curriculum Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. The Litchfield NH School District is seeking a Director of Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction to start on July 1, 2024. The Successful candidate will provide administrative leadership and support the Superintendent in meeting goals and objectives related to curriculum and instruction. Provide quality leadership with the implementation of instructional strategies that enhance student achievement by overseeing the review, revision, and implementation of an articulated K-12 curriculum. Develop and monitor a comprehensive student assessment program that provides data for responsible curriculum development and instruction that will increase student learning. Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of current education and instructional theories, methodologies, techniques and best practices as related to instruction and curriculum. Knowledge of curriculum design, lesson development and personalized learning. Knowledge of current educational technology trends in a competency-based education. At least five years of classroom teaching experience. Master's degree in curriculum and instruction or related area in education. Certification: Must hold or be eligible to hold New Hampshire certification for Curriculum Administrator.

$110,000 - $116,000
