Curriculum Specialist jobs in Colorado

Curriculum Specialist designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Being a Curriculum Specialist consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Curriculum Specialist writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Curriculum Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:

    • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps as well as generates new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth 
    • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with customers 
    • Enhance product pricing and positioning strategies
    • Promote and facilitate the sale of curriculum 
    • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes 
    • Gather and analyze market data to identify new opportunities and customers and the demand for products 
    • Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members 
    • Research, write, and develop high-quality assessment and instructional professional development content in addition to delivering professional development and training to end-users relating to our line of products and curriculum 
    • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed 
    • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact 
    • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding 
    • Foster strong partnerships with schools 
    • Travel time to be expected 

    Education and Experience Levels Are We Looking For:

    • Minimum 1 year relevant experience required
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Classroom teaching and/or curriculum creation experience strongly preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Expert technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and assist and train others  
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
    • Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software

    Who you will report to:
