The Senior Quality System Training Specialist is responsible for providing leadership in creating, monitoring, and ensuring the effectiveness of Quality System training utilizing Cepheid’s electronic learning management system.  This position will work with the Quality Systems Manager.

This position is part of the Quality department and will be located in Lodi, CA (onsite). At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assess training needs to identify gaps and skills to ensure Quality System Regulatory Compliance by collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Learning and Development, and leaders to develop and establish SOPs and Work Instructions to ensure better understanding and consistency of practice.
• Develop training content utilizing Cepheid’s electronic learning management system (LMS) to deliver effective training.
• Define methodology, monitor, and continually evaluate programs to ensure the effectiveness of training.
• Influence and implement regulatory standards to incorporate within our training programs and to ensure high quality and regulatory compliance.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 5 years of functional experience with Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of functional experience with a Master’s degree, or 0-2 years of functional experience and a Doctoral degree.
• Direct knowledge of FDA QSR, IVDR, ISO 13485, and other applicable standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of eLMS administration
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Travel up to 10%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Knowledge of UL Solutions ComplianceWire
• Knowledge of Camtasia

The salary range for this role is $90,600 – $124,600. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
