Position: Truck Driver

Conway Law Advocacy is a prominent law firm committed to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We are looking for a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to support our logistical operations by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of legal documents and materials.

Job Summary:

The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting legal documents, office supplies, and other materials between various locations. The role involves ensuring that deliveries are made on schedule and in accordance with all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport legal documents, office supplies, and other materials between locations as directed.
• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Communicate effectively with the logistics team and other staff members.
• Report any mechanical problems or delivery issues to the Logistics Manager promptly.
• Keep the truck clean and in good operating condition.
• Assist with other tasks as required by the logistics team.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver.
• Ability to operate a truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Basic mechanical skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
• Good physical condition and stamina.
