    As a member of the Notre Dame Athletics team, the Program Director will serve as an analytics leader on the department's new data and analytics team. This role will primarily focus on data and analytics related to revenue generation and constituent engagement. Responsibilities will include traditional analytics projects and oversight of Salesforce CRM.

    The Program Director will conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop data insights and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements to the overall data ecosystem. The analyst will support email marketing efforts through constituent segmentation and analysis. The analyst should be proactive in managing cohorts and identifying new audiences or database segments.This person will serve as the primary point of contact for all analytics partnerships with Paciolan, Affinaquest (formerly SSB), Domo and others. This person will serve as the analytics project manager, responsible for requirements gathering, data validation, and deliverables. Project managers are strategic. They focus on the product's vision and company objectives.

    Project Management
    • Requirements gathering and develop feature acceptance criteria
    • Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated
    • Lead, develop and coordinate cross-functional teams to support all revenue generation efforts through data projects (ticket sales, email marketing, digital marketing, fundraising)
    • Drive the definition process of the business case including project scope, purpose, success criteria, expected results and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure business and technical feasibility
    • Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and develop mitigation plans
    • Use Agile tools and development guidelines to regularly ship data products and projects
    • Continuously identify and develop solutions to automate processes and improve efficiencies
    • Translate the end user's strategy into actionable tasks and work with cross-functional teams to execute those requirements




    CRM Leadership
    • Act as primary point of contact for Salesforce administrators at Paciolan
    • Manage the relationship between Paciolan's Salesforce team and the Notre Dame ticket sales & service team
    • Ensure that sales campaigns and project timelines are hit by coordinating efforts and business requirements both internally and externally
    • Leverage Paciolan's capabilities and best practices for optimal CRM implementation and success
    • Serve as the internal database administrator and subject matter expert for databases related to revenue generation
    • Responsible for training sales & service staff in CRM and ensuring that records are being updated and accurately in a timely manner. Monitor and increase user adoption through continual training
    • Design, build, and drive campaigns to better engage constituents and patrons
    • Work with internal groups on segmentation and timing and short/long-term planning initiatives for revenue generating campaigns
    • Understand the sources of data that feed into the CRM system and recommend how best to collect, organize, and use this data to maximize revenue and fan engagement
    • Provide recommendations to sales leadership on how to leverage our CRM to execute on their strategic vision, including lead scoring, prospecting, and retention strategies.

    Business Analytics & Strategy
    • Demonstrate excellent story-telling skills with data visualizations
    • Assist marketing to develop target audiences for ticketing and other revenue generation efforts
    • Act as analytics project manager and subject matter expert when working with consultants to develop dashboards and metrics
    • Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and act as liaison between data & analytics partners
    • Transform sales and marketing metrics into actionable insights and proposed next steps for leadership review
    • Develop strategies to acquire and segment new data
    • Identify analytics trends and emerging platforms that enable the organization to continuously evolve, acquire new consumers, and increase engagement
    • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and dashboards
    • Create and develop reports and dashboards to support the day-to day needs of Notre Dame Athletics

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree (4 years)
    • 1-2 years experience with manipulating complex data sets
    • Able to visualize and tell compelling stories using a range of data sources
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor key messages to the appropriate audience
    • Demonstrated ability of strong quantitative and analytical skills
    • Strong customer service attitude and the desire to assist others
    • High level of detail orientation with focus on accuracy and organization



    Preferred Qualifications:
    And, it would be amazing if you:
    • 2-3 years of SQL experience with the ability to write complex queries
    • R or Python experience not necessary but preferred
    • Extensive experience in building dashboards in a BI tool (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, etc.)
    • Knowledge of day-to-day operations and management of Salesforce CRM - including building lead lists and Salesforce dashboards
    • Project management experience
    • Previous experience working with ticketing, email marketing, and digital datasets
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
