  • Company Overview

Founded in 2016, we are proud to be among the first organizations to emerge from Penn State University's Invent Penn State commercialization ecosystem. Our mission is to better understand and address the social, emotional, and mental health needs of students. This commitment led to the development of TEAMtalk, an innovative technology that combines AI and human interaction, allowing children to connect with supportive characters who grow alongside them. Collaborations with esteemed partners such as Penn State and WQED, home of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood," are essential to expanding our vital work.

TEAMtalk provides a scalable, machine learning and human-centered approach to engage directly with children. Our solution creates a safe, non-threatening, and non-judgmental space for children to express themselves. This holistic system evaluates, coaches, and delivers actionable insights to strengthen children's mental well-being while addressing challenges early through a proprietary triage model based on the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). With daily check-ins, evidence-based assessments, and tailored coaching, TEAMtalk equips educators with valuable insights into each student's strengths and areas for growth, enhancing their social and emotional capabilities. It serves as an extension of in-school support teams, mitigating potential issues before they escalate.
