Job assignments vary from metal fabrication, CNC operators, Bender operators and Press operators. Also positions in Trim and Cut, Shipping, material handling and pressure testers. Welders always needed
Responsibilities
Follow and uphold company policies (attendance, safety, accountability matrix, etc.)
Manufacturing
Operator devices efficiently and effectively
Balance team and individual responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Measures and checks test pieces to verify conformance to specs and to determine required equipment adjustments using measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
Knowledge/Skills
Ability to read and understand blue prints
Previous use of Micrometers and Calipers
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to apply common sense understanding to complete written or oral instructions
Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Strong interpersonal and organizations skills
Ability to read a tape measure
Above average math skills
Preferred Skills
Ability to read Blueprints
Physical Requirements
