We are currently hiring a Customer Service Representative to work onsite at our Corporate office in Danbury, Connecticut.  In this role, you will work with outside sales staff to support territory growth and provide top-notch customer service to our business customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responds to distributors, OEMs, and Field Sales inquiries regarding price and delivery of orders;
• Sends assembly instructions and customer drawings as required;
• Reviews vendor managed accounts with our key customers;
• Provides required weekly status reports to key customers and internal departments;
• Builds supportive relationships with field service and all other Amphenol staff;
• Alerts field staff to key opportunities and critical problems;
• Collects competitive intelligence, including past quotations and purchase history.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree and 2 to 5 years of similar work experience, preferably with a large manufacturer or other high tech industry;
• Computer proficient, including frequent use of MS Suite (Windows) and Google Business.  Can type quickly and accurately;
• AS400 and EDI experience are highly desirable;
• You are positive, energetic, and pro-active, with excellent communication skills and able to work independently under minimal supervision.  
• Punctual and reliable, able to commute daily to Danbury (Connecticut).  
• Must be willing to undergo background check and drug test.  
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
