Summary:
The Franchise Recruiting Team Lead works to assist and oversee the franchise recruiting and retention team to build franchise relationships, implement recruiting programs resulting in increased application generation, increased employment brand awareness, and reduced turnover.
Duties/Essential Job Functions:- Oversees Franchise Recruiting and Retention Specialists (FRS) as assigned. Duties to include but are not limited to the items below.
- Manage the flow of day-to-day operations including assignment of workload, PTO, timecards, etc.
- Monitor team members’ productivity to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely, ensuring deadlines are met; assisting team with workload when needed
- Provide training or retraining, as needed, for team members to accomplish tasks
- Communicate assignments, instructions, expectations, and goals clearly and professionally
- Listen to team feedback and assist with individual development as well as clearing potential roadblocks
- Assist with the preparation, content, and delivery of monthly MAP meetings and annual performance reviewsCarry out FRS duties to an assigned group of franchises, as determined by the Consulting Director, to maintain a direct understanding of system needs and/or challenges
- Train and assist in developing new recruiting and retention staff
- Assists with challenging recruiting campaign and support scenarios
- Observes FRS delivery on recruiting calls and provide coaching as needed
- Ensures best practices are used by all FRS team members and assists with problem resolution
- Assist in developing, promoting, and implementing local turn-key resources and solutions for franchisees to add on to national recruiting initiatives
- Support national and local franchise employer brands through overseeing the FRS team with managing and writing content for online review websites; provide a company response to reviews, flag inappropriate reviews for removal, and answer questions asked about careers within the company
- Consult and assist in the development of recruitment advertising and recruiting budget with franchisees and franchise staff including, but not limited to:
- Paid online recruiting efforts
- Social media recruiting
- College recruiting
- Local and state programs
- Military recruiting
- Coordinate with internal departments and centralized consulting teams to ensure all areas affected are aware of franchise recruiting efforts
- First and Second Gear: Assign the FRS point of contact who attends designated meetings, provides progress updates back to the FRS team and facilitates a smooth handoff to the centralized consulting team
- Collect and report on data to assist with location analysis for new and existing franchise locations upon request
- Develop and assist with training of franchises through on-site franchise visits, webinars, and training events
- Attend job related seminars/classes each year to keep up with latest trends in the field
- Recommend and draft internal communication content and submit to include in newsletters and HUB content
- Facilitates review with FRS team and recommend quarterly updates to the recruiting playbook
- Assist with development and updates of sample franchise job descriptions, subject to review and approval
- Assist in development of high-quality recruiting and recruitment marketing resources for use internally and externally
- Coordinate as directed special recruiting projects such as recruiting campaigns
- Work alongside marketing content team to develop content for careers Twitter, careers blog, and company pages on various websites
