This is very important supervisory work directing the activities of parking citation and parking permit customer service employees and contact work (public and internally) resolving complex parking citation and parking permit service-related issues. This position is responsible for participating in the selection, training, productivity and evaluation of all assigned employees. Work involves planning and organizing to accommodate public contact in office, over the phone, and via e-mail; responsibility for motivating employee productivity and employee morale; resolving employee relations issues; enhancing operational efficiencies; effective use of staffing and other resources; monitoring customer service staff performance; providing employee training and development; coordinating staff communications; resolving escalated customer situations; and handling special projects. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively handle frequent public and internal contact that at times can be of a delicate nature. An employee in this position must also possess the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships; and exercise strategic thinking, creativity, independent judgment, resourcefulness and ingenuity.
Salary: $26.05 - $41.01 Hourly
