Job Description:
As a Firearm Sales Customer Service Associate, you are responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a fast paced retail store serving the Tri-State area. You will support a strong commitment to amazing customer service and ensure an extraordinary shopping experience for our customers. You will know which products will meet customer's needs, many whom we know by their first name. You will need to stay up to date on product knowledge. You will organize and maintain firearms, ammunition, and all accessories throughout locations within the store. You will ensure that required documentation is completed with accuracy and ensuring that all state, federal and ATF laws are followed. You will greet every customer with eye contact and smile. Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive, and let them know you’ll be right with them.
Listen to customer needs; ask appropriate follow-up questions to ensure you offer appropriate products that meet the specific need of the customer Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping. Complete transactions accurately and efficiently. Our customers are why we are here, but we do want to invest in you. We want to give you the tools to and resources that you need to succeed. There are opportunities to develop your skills with ongoing trainings, including NRA certifications, workshops, and room to grow within.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have familiarity of various hand guns, long guns, ammunition, and firearm accessories. Former military, law enforcement personnel, experienced hunters, and everyday firearms enthusiasts are encouraged to apply.
Professional demeanor, strong communication skills. Willingness to spend time with our customers ensuring they receive the education they need to make the right decision on their firearm purchase. The right candidate for these positions have knowledge of firearms and can answer a broad range of questions presented by first-time buyers as well as industry experts.
You must be at least 21 years old with ability to pass a background check and be eligible to own a firearm. You must also carry a firearm on your person during your scheduled shift.
Excellent customer service skills. We thank each customer as they leave. We work hard to make sure each customer gets personalized attention and that their experience at our store is pleasant and memorable.
Attention to detail is key in this position. Knowledge of 4473s, AZ Firearm Laws, and ATF Laws preferred but not mandatory.

Pay/Salary is based on qualifications and experience
Position will start parttime initially for training and onboarding and transition to a fulltime position.
