Customer Segment Manager jobs in New York
Customer Segment Manager is responsible for all customer segment group research including extracting customer data and analyzing profiles to determine market segment requirements. Develops targeted product offerings or marketing campaigns based on customer profiles. Being a Customer Segment Manager provides information to sales and marketing teams to assist in the promotion of the organization's goods and/or services. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Customer Segment Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Customer Segment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Segment Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Location: Monroe, NY
Job Summary:
- Oversee full rack and stack operations, including the installation and configuration of servers and infrastructure within the data center environment.
- Manage the onboarding process for new servers and infrastructure components, ensuring efficient deployment and integration into existing systems.
- Coordinate power management activities within the data center, including capacity planning, monitoring, and optimization to maintain reliable operations.
- Implement and enforce best practices for data center operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all data center processes, procedures, and configurations to facilitate efficient management and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor and analyze data center performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Lead and mentor data center staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of operational tasks and projects.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $60.00 - $65.00 per year
