About Us: We are the state government office that provides motor vehicle and real estate valuation services to taxpayers, the general public, and other governmental agencies in Warren County, KY. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist.
Job Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting data into our systems while providing exceptional customer service to taxpayers, the general public, and other government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Input and update property assessment information into our database.
- Prepare, compile, verify data and correct any errors or discrepancies
- Respond to inquiries from taxpayers, the general public, and other government offices via phone, email, or in-person.
- Provide assistance and guidance to individuals seeking information about property assessments, tax bills, and related matters.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Assist with additional administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business administration, real estate, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry and customer service roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with property assessment or tax-related processes is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,382.00 - $35,051.00 per year
