Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to act as a liaison between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless experience for vehicle maintenance and repair services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of automotive systems, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assess their service needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Consult with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and provide accurate explanations of recommended services.
• Schedule appointments and prioritize service requests based on urgency and availability.
• Clearly communicate service estimates, including costs and timeframes, to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of service tasks and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Upsell additional services or maintenance packages based on vehicle manufacturer recommendations and customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and vehicle information in our database.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with tact and diplomacy, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
• Follow up with customers after service to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new vehicle technologies, and service procedures through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive service environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
