Director of Finance, Accounting, and IT is responsible for all Financial, Accounting, and IT functions at Webb Chemical Service Corporation and its affiliates. SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, MBA and/or CPA credentials preferred
- 20 plus years of related experience with 5 plus being in leadership or similar roles
- Exceptional knowledge of GAAP and financial/operational software
- Strong communication skills with others in the organization (written and verbal)
- In-depth knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit and tax compliance, and other regulatory matters
- Have a strong business and accounting background in order to lead, train, and develop people
- Ability to make critical decisions in a timely manner through experienced problem solving
- Displays a high degree of confidence, initiative, and self-directed work ethic.
- Able to manage multiple tasks at the same time and meet deadlines
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Personnel
- Leading your team of direct and indirect reports through mentorship
- Complete annual review of direct reports and collaborate on indirect reports
- Set goals and evaluate progress
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Financial and Accounting
- Total responsibility of all Accounting and Financial duties
- Serving as a financial advisor to the CEO and executive team for strategic planning purposes
- Overseeing all sides of accounting operations, including, but not limited to, inventory, payables, receivables, insurance, payroll, and tax preparation
- Responsible for banking (including cash management), legal, accounting firm and insurance relationships
- Monitor the company’s system of internal controls including segregation of duties
- Ensure company policies and practices are being followed as well as recommend new policies and practices in order to meet best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Overall responsibility of the annual budgeting process (includes B/S, P/L, Cash Flow and Capital Expenditures (including ROI analysis))
- Bring new ideas and concepts to a rapidly growing company
- Business Analysis: analyze P&L Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements to determine the health and progression of the company
- Capital Investment Analysis: ROI/payback analysis, develop and maintain a tracking system to evaluate capital investment performance
- Cost identification by business segment and development of financial strategies for profit improvement/financial stability
