JOB SUMMARY: The Insider Sales Lead at Georg Utz Inc. has a pivotal role in overseeing the Insider Sales Support team and coordinating with sales operations. This role requires a blend of leadership, customer service, sales support, and some operational management skills to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales support department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the Insider Sales Support team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely pricing quotes and order processing.
- Manage and track sales data and metrics, providing actionable insights and reports to the sales team and management.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and sales program management.
- Serve as a liaison between the sales team, other departments, and upper management.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure alignment of sales strategies and objectives.
- Monitor Insider Sales Support team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvements.
- Assist in customer retention strategies and build strong client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Participate in key strategic and operational projects with the aim of increasing sales productivity and efficiency.
- Resolve problems, develop alternative solutions, and participate in group problem-solving.
- Regularly review team performance, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct management of the Insider Sales Support team and coordination with other sales operations staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or sales operations, including supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ERP, CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Mostly office-based with the occasional requirement to visit production or warehouse areas.
