Client Service Associate – Customer Success

  • Position Summary:

    The ideal Client Service Associate exhibits patience, good listening skills, attention to detail, and overall positive presence in the company and with prospects and clients. The successful candidate is the ambassador of the company. This position provides an undivided focus on prospects and clients, from being a helpful voice on the phone to answering questions, upselling current clients, doing discovery calls, and outreach to clients about outstanding quotes. Behind the scenes, the person in this role demonstrates a knack for organization and efficiency, an ease with using technology, and the ability to manage daily activities effortlessly while clearly communicating prospect and client needs to the operations team.


    Key Measures for Success:

    • Assists with attracting, engaging, and delighting clients.
    • Manages reporting and tracking of activity.
    • Has a cheerful demeanor with everyone from employees to prospects to clients; receives comments on pleasant attitude.
    • Understands all the services offered and can communicate about them clearly.
    • Contributes to growth of the company by coordinating between prospects, clients, and the internal team.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Nurtures and grows current client relationships.
    • Maintains an awareness of all services, current marketing initiatives, and the status of sales pipeline.
    • Prepares quotes for clients.
    • Acts as a liaison between sales and the marketing and operations teams.
    • Completes account set up for services as needed.
    • Answers all telephone calls immediately and courteously.
    • Performs follow up communication with prospects, and clients.
    • Responds to prospects, clients, and internal staff within the time frame promised.
    • Communicates on a regular basis with their manager and the operations team concerning all aspects of client service issues and prospect needs.
    • Communicates effectively and efficiently with all company associates in both written and verbal form.
    • Actively participates in team meetings and training sessions.
    • Supports sales by assisting with gathering information for delivering and following up on quotes.
    • Contacts current clients to check in on projects, needs, and for referrals.
    • Completes other duties and/or projects as assigned.
    • Attends weekly operations team and weekly sales team meetings.

    Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Demonstrates client service standards and teamwork.
    • Has ability to learn and develop a professional knowledge of language services.
    • Communicates in a pleasant manner.
    • Exhibits efficient time management practices.
    • Performs responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Basic Software skills of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
    • Experience with Teams and HubSpot a real plus.
    • Dedicated workspace and time as this is a virtual, work from home position.

    Required Education/Experience:

    • College degree or commensurate experience.
    • Prior experience in sales support, client service, or retail customer facing role preferred.

    Expected Hours:

    Full time, M-F EST


    Compensation

    • Starting at $20 per hour
