The Native American Achievement Project Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with New Student Services, MSUB support services to help advance MSUB’s Native American recruiting and retention efforts. The Project Coordinator will work directly with the Director of the NAAC, the Native American Student Advisor, and NSS to identify targeted high schools and tribal colleges in which deepen ties to better serve Native students, families, and communities.

The NAAC team will collaborate with NSS and MSUB support services towards Native student recruitment, enrollment, and student success. The NAAC team will be in regular contact with all current Native students through identifying important touchpoints designed to engage Native students, optimize educational opportunities, and support their personal development. Touchpoints would include but not limited to the following: new student orientation, early-mid-late semester one on one appointments, connection to career development, academic advising, academic support services, library services, health and wellness, recreation, student employment, and student engagement, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
