Assistant Home Manager

$17- per hour & up based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Model gentle teaching for staff.
- Provide direct care to individuals served, bathing/showering, passing medications, cooking, and cleaning.
- Prioritize responsibilities and time management efficiently to ensure all responsibilities are met.
- Demonstrate commitment to quality by responsive, professional, and efficient delivery of person-centered services.
- Maintain good working relationships with clinicians, licensing consultants, and guardians.
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely professional manner.
- Ensure that the social, personal, and medical needs of each person are met, with appropriate follow-up documentation completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure programs and guidelines are followed as written, including behavioral support, person-centered plans, and other individualized plans of service.
- Ensure the rights of people living in the home are always honored.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to increase knowledge and skills to improve leadership effectiveness.
- Lead with clarity, judgement, and commitment to the agency’s mission and values.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills which reflect integrity, ethics, and respect for all levels of HGA persons served, staff, partners, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate effective management competencies.
- Maintain on-call availability to manage and coordinate emergency situations.

Qualifications/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug testing requirements.
- At least two years of experience in an AFC setting required.
