Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Loan Officer to join our lending team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding members through the loan process, from origination to closing. You will leverage your expertise in credit analysis, underwriting, and loan processing to provide exceptional service and ensure that clients receive the best financing options available. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial products.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze member financial information to determine eligibility for loans.
• Facilitate the loan origination process by gathering necessary documentation and conducting thorough credit analysis.
• Provide members with detailed information about various loan products and assist them in selecting the best options for their needs.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Develop and maintain relationships with members and other referral sources to drive loan growth.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, including TILA (Truth in Lending Act), to ensure compliance throughout the lending process.
• Assist members in understanding the terms of their loans and provide ongoing support throughout the repayment period.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or a related field, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge of credit analysis and underwriting practices or willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Software.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously.
