Dairy Processing Equipment Repairer jobs in the United States

Dairy Equipment Center is a dairy service company and installs and repairs dairy equipment. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Dairy Installation Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine installation of a variety of dairy equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Analyze equipment performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Fabricate and install new parts or components as needed
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and meet deadlines
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues promptly
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean and organized work areas

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Installation Technician or similar role, ideally with dairy or industrial equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and plumbing systems.
• Welding experience, with the ability to perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) for fabrication and repair.

Proficiency in analyzing and diagnosing equipment malfunctions

• Familiarity with low-voltage and high-voltage systems
• Ability to fabricate, install, and modify parts or components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in dairy or agricultural equipment installation and maintenance.
• Certification in mechanical, electrical, or welding fields.
• Refrigeration certification (EPA or equivalent) is preferred.
