The Bank of Utah is excited to be hiring for interns for the summer of 2024. Our 12 week internship program will immerse you in the real work of one of Utah's largest community banks. You will get a chance to meet and learn from the senior leadership of the bank, network with other interns, and understand the various aspects of work within the bank thru regular learning opportunities. We are currently looking for a Jr. Data Analyst for our branch located at 2605 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT. The Junior Data analyst will be supporting data aggregation and analysis of Bank data.  They will help coordinate and assist in data projects from different business units with their role.  The main responsibility in this position is to engineer data to turn it into useable flows for further analysis in visualizations. The Junior Data Analyst Intern is expected to assist in the collections and analysis of data using data analytic tools and RPA tools to gather and organize reliable data.

To qualify for this Jr. Data Analyst Intern position, you must have:

1. Pursuing Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or other relevant field of study to business or analytics
2. Able to work full time from May 20^th – Aug 9^th, 2024
3. Demonstrated knowledge in Tableau
4. Preferred coding skills in languages such as SQL and Python
5. Passion for banking, finance, and technology
6. Strong communication skills, open to feedback, organized, willing to follow up with multiple parties
7. Pursuing career in analytics/business intelligence
8. Skills in data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques
9. Desire to learn and apply new skills
   
   This Jr. Data Analyst Intern position requires you to:
10. Extract data using structure Query Language (SQL)/Tableau Prep to identify integrity issues.
11. Once the data has been collected, in order to allow for proper comparison, the analyst must filter and "clean" the data to remove errors and ensure consistency and completeness of data.
12. Extract and report Data from Business Analytics platforms.
