Job Overview: Data helps create the insights that drive growth, operating efficiencies, and an overall competitive advantage at EPIC. EPIC is seeking a passionate full-time Data Analyst that will work within our business team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. To be considered, a candidate must have proven work experience as a Data Analyst.
Key Accountabilities:
- Partners with stakeholders to translate business outcomes into data and information delivery requirements
- Partners closely with information technology team to deliver decision support tools and capabilities
- Continuously improves the data volume, velocity, variety, and veracity
- Performs testing and quality control
- Defines and or updates metadata
Job Responsibilities:
- Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
- Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
- Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
- Supports Data Governance and Data Privacy activities
Education & Experience:
- 2-4 years proven work experience as a Data Analyst
- Bachelor's Degree in either Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant volumes of data with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Knowledge of data governance and data privacy best practices
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Efficient with regards to time management
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines with short turnaround times
- Ability to collaborate with team members to produce results
- Willing to work a flexible schedule to meet client demands
The national average salary for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
