Summary
The Data Warehouse Architect participates in data analysis to ensure the business is provided accurate, consistent, and relevant information with which to make critical business decisions. This position reports to the Manager of Finance.
Responsible for the design, model, and implementation of data warehousing activities. Program and configure warehouses of database information and provide support to warehouse users.
Responsible for collecting and analyzing financial, operational, and marketing data and offering detailed analysis and solutions that can be acted upon. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large and disparate data sets to solve complicated problems which often require thinking outside of the box. This will be achieved through developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our company and the healthcare industry.

Requirements
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics; 3 years’ experience. Master’s degree preferred. Healthcare experience is a plus. Experience with data visualization programs, such as Tableau, is highly desired.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Strong knowledge of data aggregation tools such as Excel and Tableau. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python and/or Java. Proficient in relevant data management applications.
