Responsibilities:

• Repair malfunctioning equipment units and broken structures
• Assist with installation of machinery systems
• Perform electrical systems maintenance
• Quality check equipment regularly to ensure items are in working order
• Help maintain inspection and repair schedules as needed
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years maintenance experience required
• Working knowledge of facility equipment units, their usage, and safety procedures

Language:

• Ability to effectively communicate in English both in writing and verbally at the general business level

Technical Skills:

• Possess the technical knowledge necessary to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
• Basic computer skills in MS Office, including Word and Excel

Reasoning Ability:

• Must have good organizational and investigation skills as well as being able to plan and execute workload without supervision
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, instructions, safety rules, and reports

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel; reach with hand and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, and occasionally life and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Must have 20/20 vision acuity with or without glasses
