As part of the office and procedural team, the Radiology Technician will perform all in office X-Ray scans and assists with preparing patients for procedures. This position requires the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills. Primary objective is to provide excellent patient care while allowing the provider to maximize time in the exam room.

Position Duties included, but not limited to:

• Ensures the patients are prepared and properly identified
• Positions the patients accordingly for correct views

• Educates the patient on the use of Xray machine
• Provide appropriate imaging based on provider orders
• Assists with transporting patients to and from the waiting room, Xray room and exam room
• Assists with required regulatory documentation and tracking
• Post exposure times and regulatory requirements

• Documentation as needed
• Cleans and maintains lead
• Ensures all staff or visitors in room have proper lead and attire
• Reports important information to the Provider
• Ensures safety of patients during exams

• Maintains adequate radiologic supplies
• Understands and maintains adherence to HIPAA/OSHA regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
