Data Control Clerk reviews, codes, and inputs source data from storage media into a computer processing system. Compares output to control totals and makes corrections to codes and batches as necessary. Being a Data Control Clerk prepares and distributes output reports as instructed. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Data Control Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The Data Control Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for assisting in maintaining accurate inventory by verifying all orders received and shipped. He/She must ensure the inventory is accurately reflected. He/She will assist in supervising other clerks in absence of the Inventory Control Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory records
Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties
Assist with inventories
Make inventory adjustments as necessary
Ensure accurate accounting of and disposition of all defective or damaged product
Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records
Coordinate annual physical inventory procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Key Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School diploma or equivalent
6 months warehouse and inventory experience preferred
Must be able to operate various MHE equipment
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
Ability to read, understand, and follow directions
Ability to perform simple math calculations
Ability to operate various office equipment as needed
Ability to operate spreadsheet software applications preferred
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with Team Members and/or Guests
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
