    NTT DATA Services currently seeks a QA Analyst to join our team for a temporary Remote position.

    Role Responsibilities
    • Develop methods for ensuring a high level of data quality
    • Participate in data & infrastructure requirement, specification, and design reviews
    • Develop comprehensive documentation, including test strategies, test plans, and test cases
    • Perform quality assurance testing and integrity checks on multiple files, tables, and reports/dashboards
    • Coordinate and prioritize testing of modifications and bug fixes, and actively participate in debugging/troubleshooting
    • Analyze and report issues using the defect tracking tool, including stress testing and throughput/performance testing
    • Proactively identify gaps in the processes and provide effective suggestions in advance of issues
    • Document and report results to stake holders
    • Assess readiness of data platform based upon test results and application specifications
    • Post go-live, validate defects reported from customers

    Required Skills/Experience
    • Extensive knowledge of row-based, columnar, and star-schema database principles
    • Knowledge of testing methodologies and data development & migration models
    • Data testing experience across different levels of testing (e.g., component, integration, functional, regression)
    • Knowledge of advanced SQL queries to validate data stored in Postgres & AWS Redshift databases
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, remote environment
    • Strong communication skills to gather testing requirements, clearly convey project readiness status, investigate, and report issues and document test results
    • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science, software engineering, or related field; or 4 years applicable work experience in lieu of degree

    Preferences
    • Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment is a strong plus
