We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Data Analyst to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will be a data enthusiast with a keen eye for details, who enjoys working with numbers and can convert complex data into actionable strategies. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for providing valuable insights that will directly contribute to our business decisions and strategy.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement and maintain BI solutions to understand business trends and drive sales.
2. Design, build and deploy BI dashboards using Tableau, Power BI and other relevant tools.
3. Perform complex data analysis to identify opportunities, highlight strengths, weaknesses, and suggest improvements.
4. Understand retail strategy and provide data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data solutions.
6. Develop and maintain databases, data systems, ensuring that the data management process adheres to company standards.
7. Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports.
8. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
9. Use data visualization tools to present information in a way that is easily understood by the stakeholders.
10. Work on special projects as assigned, providing accurate and timely data analysis.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or related field.
3. Proven experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
4. Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases, and programming.
5. Experience in developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Proficient in SQL, Excel, R or Python.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
10. Knowledge of retail strategy and experience in the sales industry is preferred.
