  • We are looking for a part time Data Entry Clerk to update and maintain information on our company databases and computer systems. Please note this is a Part Time position and hours will vary week to week, average of about 20 hours per week. This position would be great for a mom that drops kids off and pick up but needing something in between and has office experience to make some extra money. A retiree looking for a few hours a day would be a great fit also, as would a HR and/or admin college student looking for something in between classes. Times and days can be flexible!

    Data Entry Operator responsibilities include:
    • Collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information.
    • Our ideal candidate has essential data entry skills, like fast typing with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.
    • You will work with a vice president of finance and administrator with a local company. Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar position required.

    Ultimately, a successful Data Entry Operator will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date and useable information in our systems.

    Requirements

  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs.
  • Familiarity with administrative duties.
  • Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner.
  • Typing speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
