Being a Data Modeling Analyst maintains data integrity by working to eliminate redundancy. Stays informed of the ways the organization uses its data. Additionally, Data Modeling Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Data Modeling Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Looking to see if we could create a “data scrubber” that would be able to create and run a report that would identify data incorrectness before the work order hits the production floor (then it is very painful as it results in us making the product incorrectly). I’d say this would be a step above data analyst - perhaps a date engineer This person would be the one creating the “scrubber” – it would involve first a significant time investment to learn the product so an effective scrubber can be created. We have knowledgeable support staff here who could help the person gain that knowledge. I need the person to: • Gain the knowledge (of what good/bad data looks like) • Create the scrubber • Create reports from the scrubber that we can send to the database group with the scrubbed/clean data I see this is a multiple month assignment at minimum. This is a great need here, so if we get the right person, I can see permanent opportunities for the person. He/she could really make a mark. Initially, for the learning, I’d strongly recommend being on-site as there will be value in seeing the product. As the project progresses, can probably do more from home (though I’m more of a fan of work from work vs. WFH). • The data resides in JDE (JD Edwards) – so they’d need to be or get proficient in that…then use whatever program necessary to create the scrubber and reports • Salary negotiable
