Siemens is seeking an Analyst in the field of computational chemistry and multiscale modeling!
You are a hardworking teammate with a background in computational biology, chemistry, or physics. As part of the Simcenter Customer Services multidisciplinary team, you will support the customer to work towards their goals using the Simcenter Culgi software. You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of individual projects by planning and implementing simulations, checking results to ensure quality, report on project progress, and document and delivering successful solutions to the customer. You will get along with the customer regularly with the Project Manager to provide updates.
Responsibilities:
Drives assigned projects including helping to define scope, schedules, and deliverables
Works with customer during the execution of the projects
Provides information to improve our software solutions
Writes / updates scripts to support and improve creation of simulation tasks
Works Project Manager to regularly communicate project status with the customer
Apply appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve technical problems
Encouraged travel requirement: 10%
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
A Ph.D. degree in computational science in either biology or chemistry
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to communicate sophisticated technical concepts clearly and optimally
Problem solving and reasoning skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Commercial or professional industrial experience in analysis is a plus
Have experience in multiscale modeling and/or computational chemistry is a plus
The salary range for this position is $82,900 to $149,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
