RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Salsify Developer (Data Modeling) in New Britain, CT.
Duties Include: * Salsify Developer will work with business stakeholders to outline requirements for Q3 MVP delivery to launch Salsify as central, governed global source for intake of new product data * Manage tasks to move from ideation, to build, to training and delivery * Work directly with project developer, coordinator, program manager, and others to accomplish milestone build tasks * Establish and lead project cadence for status updates, requirements intake, testing (QA, UAT), and post-launch support * Work with program manager on change management strategies and product roadmap * Proactively manage system licenses for projected growth * Support Global Salsify PMDM platform * Active involvement in requirements gathering, analysis and design discussions, documentation, and execution * As a Salsify Developer, you will work closely with Product Owner(s) to implement necessary changes and enhancements to large and small data, based on business requirements * Build and deliver reports for various design approaches and functional enhancements * Independently manage detailed log of system changes * Perform QA Testing prior to handoff to project leads; Deploy configuration changes in Salsify DEV and PROD environments * Determine and execute test activities, QA data from technical perspective * Provide technical recommendations for system stabilization, estimate level-off effort/scope for tasks * Coordinate and consult with Salsify vendor on Support tickets, bugs, enhancements, and releases (including developing and executing acceptance test cases for new releases); As system expert, work closely with stakeholders on fast-moving projects, translating, documenting, and executing on business requirements and use cases
REQUIREMENTS: Early-to-Mid-level experience (5 years) in: * Direct responsibility in configuring Salsify platform; As product administrator * Hands-on experience configuring the data model, writing formulas, channel mapping, building workflows, and importing/exporting large data sets from Salsify * Experience working with Salsify API; Integration work with internal tech stack, preferred (ERPs, brand sites, data lakes, etc.) * Working knowledge of programming languages for data manipulation * Practiced in agile work environments (Kanban framework or other)
* High degree of learning agility and ability to understand product content in a variety of contexts to support multiple functions * Strong knowledge of all phases of digital development: case/concept, information architecture, design, development, and UAT * Understanding of product information management, master data management, and digital asset management concepts * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in an ever-evolving environment * Skilled in reading business requirements and communicating with nontechnical team members * Ability to relay technical concepts visually, in writing, and in speaking * Analytical/problem solving skills * Excellent Excel skills * Working knowledge of ecommerce information exchange practices, data standards (ETIM, GS1), data pools, and networks (GDSN)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
