Real Estate Developer and Mineral Mine Operator looking for an energetic person that can
perform all aspects of financial modeling and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and P&L
review and trend analysis. This position will give you the rare opportunity to learn all aspects
of our business and work with people at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate
must be experienced and capable of building 13-week cash flow and three statement financial
models for private equity, mezzanine investors, banks and other investors.
Our company holds substantial real estate acreage currently used for Mineral Mine operations
and is currently negotiating entitlements for future Real Estate Development and Home
Building Operations. The job is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Key responsibilities
Development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity
for joint venture opportunities, capital raising transactions, financing,
acquisitions and dispositions.
Perform various valuation methods: comparable companies, precedents,
and DCF.
Develop recommendations and structure for all opportunities - offerings,
private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations.
Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the financing of real
estate investments, including investment memoranda, management
presentations and pitch-books.
Develop relationships with new and existing banks, private equity firms and
other potential partners in order to expand the business.
Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live
transactions.
Create presentations for banks. private equity firms, private investors, and
institutional lenders for financial opportunities.
Relevant skills, knowledge, and experience
Bachelor’s degree, accounting, finance or real estate focus preferred.
Two or more years of experience in a finance or business background,
particularly on the quantitative side.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal
supervision.
Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals.
Strong communication and networking skills.
Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in
explaining market events.
