Oversees the interpretation of results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining. Being a Data Science Manager manages the design and implementation of big data solutions for the organization. Uses extensive knowledge and research into big data tools to guide data scientists' adoption and use of new and existing tools. Additionally, Data Science Manager typically requires a master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management.     • Experience with ML fields, e.g., predictive analytics and financial modeling, statistical learning theory.
    • 4 years of industry experience in predictive & algorithmic modeling, data science, and data analysis.
    • Experience in a data scientist role building and mentoring
    • Experience with maintaining and monitoring ML models in a production environment
    • Expertise in modelling & building systems using Python.
    • Experience in diving into data to discover hidden patterns, using data visualization tools, writing SQL, and working with modern tools to develop models
    • Experience writing and speaking about technical concepts to business, technical, and lay audiences and giving data-driven presentations
    • Team player, open minded, motivated and dedicated
    • Collaborate with business domain subject matter experts in various departments to understand the problem and the objectives.
    • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for a non-technical audience.
    • Research and build innovative predictive statistical models for all areas of the business
    • Provide mentorship to junior data scientists in aspects of machine learning, data and software engineering, and assist them with practical guidance, when needed
    • Maintain, tune, improve model behavior with live data for the company’s credit decision model for lending operations to drive profitability.
